^ My first ride of the season with Brandon- to get a Dole Whip of course.

This week has definitely had its share of ups and downs, but the whole point of ‘weekly highlights’ is to share the positive things in life, and not focus on the stressful or negative parts. I’m very grateful to be three quarters of the way finished with my real estate course, and I am that much closer to being a New York State licensed real estate agent! (woop woop!) Thank God for smart phones because I’ve been able to keep in touch and make appointments with customers at work in between sitting through hours and hours of real estate law and how to read contracts. I know last week I said I would be posting about a project, but I just simply did not have the time. I’ll share it next week for sure.

This weekend, Brandon and I plan on putting up some doors- we still don’t have one on our bedroom or the bathroom! (We do have a “sound proof” privacy curtain for the bathroom door currently).  I’m also looking forward to the sunshine we are supposed to be having so I can do some studying out by the river. Have a wonderful weekend!

^ Brandon and I bought this squirrel ornament from Pottery Barn back in November with hopes that we would be living in out house by Christmas. (Which, as you know, didn’t happen until January). Anyway, we’ve been staging this ornament all over the house pranking one another with it (he puts in in my closet, I get him back by putting it in his coat pocket, etc). This scene above, made me laugh so hard when I found it!

^ I know it doesn’t look like much, but we hooked up our washing machine this week!! Between dragging laundry to our former host’s house, my sister’s and my parent’s for the past 4 months, it is such a relief to have our a washing machine hooked up- I don’t even care that it’s in the basement- it’s in the house! (Our dryer is upstairs in a closet- I guess I owe you another ‘apartment tour’ soon, huh?)
