Last week I posted details about our road trip along the West Coast and shared my favorite shots from the journey. Today I want to share with you my favorite moments from each of the major cities we stayed overnight in. We had such a fun and rewarding time on the West Coast, but when people ask us how our vacation was, I pause for a moment and say “It was really nice, but really exhausting.” You see, we wanted to make the most out of our trip, attempting to see as much as we possibly could in those 8 short days. I think we did a great job of focusing on the present city we were in, enjoying each moment. The route we took was simply gorgeous and the sites we saw along the are something I will never forget.  Despite all the sights and sounds we experienced on that trip, Brandon and I agreed that our next vacation is going to be in one place- preferably lying on a beach.

^ We hiked for over an hour to get to this spot to take this picture. Lesson: sometimes the journey to get the photo is just as memorable as the photo.
